NEW YORK WEDDING VENUES (PART 2): Building on a post a few weeks ago (PART 1), here I showcase four more wonderful places to host a wedding. Two are rather intimate spaces, 91 and Alger House, both located in the West Village. The other two are grand venues with ideal outdoor capacity located just outside of Manhattan, Wainwright House and Whitby Castle.

VANESSA & DAVID GET MARRIED: In the tradition of a quintessential New Orleans art form referred to as “second lining,” the wedding party and its guests follow a jazz band from the church in Chelsea to the event space, 91, in the West Village. Vanessa and David once lived in NOLA.
Dan Fehlig (Founder & Director of The Upper Crust Catering Company that oversees the event space, 91) and his team outdid themselves with ingenious design of the venue space, manipulating the lighting and incorporating fabulous hues that connect to the colorful parasols and handkerchiefs that are frequently part of “second lines.”
